My wife and I have just spent an amazing week in South Africa. We decided to use Cashan Africa to show us around. We had a tour of Johannesburg and then Soweto with an extraordinary guide Chris Green. He knows so much about the history of the place and the people. He did much more than show us around. He totally immersed us in the life of the people and the place. A couple of days later he took us on a safari to Madikwe and to Pilanesberg game reserves. Not only did we see so many wild animals but Chris taught us about the geology and the flora of the reserves. He knew the best places to see every animal we wanted to see and many we did not even know existed. Seeing wild dogs was amazing and so rare. Chris's knowledge was extraordinary and he was a fabulous guide. We would very strongly recommend Cashan Africa as a company to book your South African tours with. You will not be disappointed.

I booked Cashan tours for two days for my son and I to experience Johannesburg and its surrounds. Booking was an easy process with the company listening well to our interests and ideas and coming up with a personal intinerary. Howard arrived on time with a smile and so began two days packed with fascinating facts and brilliant pockets of local living, which is what we requested. Howard knows all there is to see and is well known by the locals making it easy to get the true feel for the place. The time in Soweto was magical. We even got a special sculpture piece signed by the artist. Great restaurant for lunch, stopped where ever we wanted for as long as needed. Felt completely safe the entire time. Howard knew all the history of the city and could tell you the most up to date information on what was happening. Day two saw us head out to Lesedi cultural village. A brilliant place if you want to be immersed in then traditional side of the country. The singing and dancing was outstanding with great local crafts to buy. We then stopped for lunch at Maggies pies, a local favourite where we tasted lots of local fair, yum!Then we went out to the rhino and lion reserve. We had already done safari but it was great to get up close to some Cubs and see antelope species we hadn't encountered.the drive back through the traffic was an adventure in itself but once again we felt totally safe. I have booked personal tours in many countries and Howard is world class. Thankyou for a perfect two days. Book Cashan tours if you want a personal tour packed with smiles, laughter and a true taste of the country that is South Africa.
